最近我和子滕同學在路邊撿垃圾的時候，忽然聽到了兩位坐在自家門口的外國爺爺奶奶的稱讚，說很感謝我們的工作。我們也熱切地回應了他們，然後又沿途繼續更加高興地撿了起來。現在漸漸地，我們走過的路上已越來越整潔了。而球場旁邊儘管每週都會有新的垃圾出現，也比我們剛來的時候已經乾淨很多很多了。
Recently, when classmate Tom and I were picking garbage along the street, we suddenly heard praises from an old foreign couple, who, sitting in front of their door, said that they appreciated our job. We replied to them sincerely, too, and continued to pick more happily. Now, gradually, the streets we have walked are getting cleaner and cleaner; and even though there will appear new garbage every week on the field near the basket court, the field is experiencing the same process. This sort of pleasure is hard to describe.
