看英語書的時候，不知道為什麼，以前的記憶忽然莫名地浮現出來，讓我想起在從前，因為從來不願意背單詞和課文的重點句子，所以我的英語考得總是不好。但這並不是最重要的，因為真正很可笑的是，儘管老師整天把“單三”“定狀補”這些語法用詞掛在嘴邊，卻也很少告訴我們這些詞彙究竟是什麼意思，以致於好像從小學四年級開始，五六年英語學下來，也只不過是跟著老師多念了幾篇課文，多知道了些單詞而已，雖然因為不知道音標的緣故讀得也不大標準。直到來到叔叔這裡，才真正明白究竟什麼是基本的要素，究竟該怎樣學英語，就像我們瞭解與學習生活與學習的許多方面那樣。而且，我想也是最重要的，叔叔令我們有了學習的動力與在其間收穫快樂的能力。
When reading an English book, I don’t know why, the past memory suddenly came into my mind, making me remember that I rarely got good grades on English because I didn’t want to remember vocabulary and main sentences of the articles. But this doesn’t matter, because the really funny thing is that, though the teachers kept talking about grammar, they didn’t explain them to us. This way, from grade 4 to grade 9, after learning English for so many years, the only thing I have got are some articles and vocabulary of which my pronunciation might be wrong because I didn’t know the sound marks. That until coming here. I finally knew the fundamentals of learning a language, just like learning other things here. Besides, the most important thing is that, I got the thrust of learning and the ability of gathering happiness during it.
