这周，我们打篮球时碰到了两拨体质比较强壮的对手。在第一局比赛的时候，我们极其努力地防守和进攻，最后总算胜了。第二局比赛一开始看起来比第一局还容易一点，我防了一个个子比我还稍微矮一点的对手。可是想不到那个对手虽然个子不高，进攻特别厉害，而且还很灵活。结果那个对手还是进了好几个球。以前我们打篮球的时候其实也有过因为心里太有必胜的把握，结果输了很多球。让我想起了叔叔给我们讲过任何时候都不能太过自信，如果太觉得自己能，就变成无益的自负了。别看别人个头小，终究还是刻苦练习过的。自己要是不练习，肯定没法打过别人的。
This week, we met some strong opponents while playing basketball. In the first game, we tried our best to defend and attack, and we won. The second game looked even easier than the first game, I defended a person who is a little bit shorter than me. Though he is not very tall, his attacking and defending is very strong, and he’s very flexible. Finally he scored a lot of balls. Actually before we also had this practice, to lose by too much confidence. Uncle told us that we can’t be too confident anytime, or we will be conceited, which is useless. Don’t care how they look, but they practiced hard. If I don’t practice, I certainly can’t win.
