Correction method

Recently, I re-watched the movie "Four Lessons of Liao Fan", and I was very touched. When we are here with our uncle, we will review what we have learned before every once in a while, and in the process, we have truly experienced the wisdom of the ancients to "know the new by reviewing the past". Any knowledge and content will have different understandings as people age and think differently. And this time I revisited the movie "Four Lessons of Liao Fan". Although I have only watched the first episode so far, I feel that I have a new experience compared with before. The more profound one is the method of reform.

In the movie, the story begins with Mr. Liao Fan’s youngest son, Yuan Tianci, who failed the provincial examination. After failing the exam, the youngest son Tianci reflected his mentality of complaining about the unfairness of the examiner and others. He was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with his failure, and did not realize his own shortcomings and mistakes. However, under the inspiration and guidance of Mr. Liao Fan, he began to realize the importance of the law of reform.

Mr. Liao Fan told Tianci that complaining and complaining will not solve the problem, on the contrary, it will only make oneself more and more lost. Only with a sincere heart and a good heart can one have a beautiful life. Later, Tianci passed Mr. Fan's teachings and concluded: "Reflect on your own mistakes, regardless of people's strengths, and never blame others." Mr. Liao Fan told him with a smile: "People are not sages and sages, no one can make mistakes, and if you know your mistakes, you can correct them. There is nothing good about it. This is the most rare thing!". Afterwards, he began to explain the method of rectification for Tianci.

The method of reformation can be summed up in three words: shame, fear, and courage. First of all, as a person, you must understand right and wrong, know what is right and wrong, and at the same time, you need to feel ashamed of the wrong things you have done. If you know your mistakes and make mistakes, or make mistakes without knowing it, it is not acceptable. While having a sense of shame, one must also have a sense of fear. The ancients said that the dark room is guilty, the eyes are like lightning, and there are gods three feet above the head, and the sky is watching when people are doing it. Even if a person is alone in a dark room, he must be vigilant not to do bad things and generate bad thoughts. Karma is true. Even if people do not see or respond to some things, they will eventually receive retribution from heaven. This is The laws of the universe are also things that people must take seriously. At the same time, you have two mentalities of shame and fear, and finally you have to develop a brave heart. Before you are brave, try to correct your past, and you can correct all your bad habits.

The method of rectification that Mr. Liao Fan described is that people need to spend their whole life practicing it, and rectification is also a process of continuous improvement and improvement. In the Spring and Autumn Period, Qu Boyu was able to reflect on his own mistakes and make corrections at the age of twenty, but at the age of twenty-one, he found that the corrections were not thorough. At the age of twenty-two, looking back at the age of twenty-one, I am still in a dream. Every year, Qu Boyu will find new problems and correct them. At the age of fifty, when I reflect on my forty-nine years of life, there are still problems. The reason why there are so many ancient sages and sages in ancient times is because they can constantly dig out those deficiencies and those bad thoughts in the process of life, so as to constantly correct and improve. In the end, he will become a gentleman and a sage. It is recommended that everyone read the four trainings of Fan, and constantly correct themselves, improve themselves, change themselves, and create a better self.
