这周我们读了一个故事，使我对爱护小动物有了更深一层的感受。世人都知道应该爱护动物，对于像猫、狗这样的大型动物人们时常会产生怜悯，但对于像蚂蚁、蚊子这样的小型动物，也就无所谓他们的死活，也很难生出同情心，似乎他们就不再是有情感的生物了。有时甚至因为蚊子叮咬我们一口，我们会用各种残忍的方式对待他们。难道伤害这类小型动物就不算杀生了吗？
在日常与猫咪们的相处中，我们可以发现每个猫咪都有不同的性格。他们和人一样，饿了要吃饭、困了要睡觉、生气了会打架、想吃零食会撒娇，人类的所有喜怒哀乐的情感他们都有。同是有生命的动物，大型动物既如此，小型动物又何尝不具备这些感情呢？
我们的房子有时会出现一些觅食的蚂蚁，为了驱赶它们，同时也为了避免他们伤于猫抓与人脚之下。我们通常会把蚂蚁装在一个薯片盒里，然后把他们放回自然。有的时候没有来得及放出去的蚂蚁一直困在薯片盒里，他们不断的向上爬到盖子旁寻找出路，然后一次又一次的摔回盒底发出“啪嗒”的声音。当我们在盒子里挤了一些水果汁时，蚂蚁们停止了向上攀爬，聚集在一起吸吮着蜜汁。如果我们换位思考，当我们被困在这样一个封闭的狭小的空间，没有食物、没有阳光，我们同样会感到非常的无助、害怕、想要冲破笼子回归自由。有时我们会发现一些蚂蚁搬着死去的同伴，试图将他们搬回巢穴。这一点不正是说明了蚂蚁们之间也存在惺惺相惜的情感吗？蚂蚁虫子也是生命，只是人类没有仔细观察他们，不了解他们之间的情感。
即使小型动物之间的情感无法被人类所了解，但是疼痛感却是所有生物都具备的。当我们一巴掌拍扁一只蚊子的时候，脚踩死一个虫子的时候，试想一下那种粉身碎骨的感觉。如果我们的内心足够善良，光是想到这一点我们就不会做出有意伤害的举动。蚊子的叮咬着实让人厌烦，但是为了生存、为了自己的后代他们不得不这么做。换位思考，蚊子都不知道自己做错了什么，就被人类讨厌、杀害……我们真的应该消除对生命任何不平等的看法，用同理心对待任何生命，爱护所有动物！
We read a story this week, which gave me a deeper feeling about caring for small animals. Everyone in the world knows that animals should be cared for. People often feel pity for large animals like cats and dogs, but for small animals like ants and mosquitoes, they don't care whether they live or die, and it is difficult to feel sympathy. It seems that they just No longer are sentient beings. Sometimes even because mosquitoes bite us, we treat them in various cruel ways. Does harming such small animals count as killing?
In our daily interactions with cats, we can find that each cat has a different personality. They are like people, they eat when they are hungry, sleep when they are sleepy, fight when they are angry, act like a baby when they want to eat snacks, they have all the emotions of human beings. The same is living animals, such as large animals, how come small animals do not have these emotions?
Our house sometimes has some foraging ants, in order to drive them away, but also to prevent them from being hurt by cats and people's feet. We usually put the ants in a potato chip box and let them go back to nature. Sometimes the ants that haven't been released in time have been trapped in the potato chip box. They kept climbing up to the lid to find a way out, and then fell back to the bottom of the box again and again to make a "click" sound. When we squeezed some fruit juice in the box, the ants stopped climbing up and gathered together to suck the honey juice. If we think about it differently, when we are trapped in such a closed and narrow space without food and sunlight, we will also feel very helpless, scared, and want to break out of the cage and return to freedom. Sometimes we find some ants carrying dead companions, trying to move them back to the nest. Doesn't this just show that there is also a feeling of sympathy among the ants? Ants and bugs are also life, but human beings don't observe them carefully and don't understand the emotions between them.
Even if the emotions between small animals cannot be understood by humans, the sense of pain is shared by all living things. When we slap a mosquito flat with our palms, or trample a bug to death with our feet, imagine the feeling of being crushed to pieces. If we are good enough in our hearts, we will not do intentional harm just by thinking about it. Mosquito bites are a nuisance, but they have to do it to survive and for their offspring. Thinking in another way, mosquitoes don’t even know what they did wrong, so they are hated and killed by humans... We should really eliminate any unequal views on life, treat any life with empathy, and love all animals!
