Student Visa Application Process

Before you can study in Canada, you must apply for a Study Permit on Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Website.  Most international students can submit Visa applications online which will reduce the time for processing time. For US Citizens, you can submit your Visa application upon arrival at the port of entry into Canada.

When you submit a Study Permit application, you will need the following documents:

Documentation for Student Visa Application

1. Passport
2. ID card
3. PDF scanned copy of HUKOU with English translation (Only for Chinese Students)
4. Student's Photo (Size: 35mm X 45mm)
5. Offical Letter of Acceptance from Cambridge Academy
6. Tuition Invoice
7. Application Form: 1) MM0104E, 2) IMM1294E, 3) IMM5645E

8. Physical Exam (A pre-physical examination before submitting a Visa application will speed up the application process)

9. Biometrical information collection

10. Birth certificate notarization

11. Family financial certificate:
1) Including the work and income certificates of the father and mother (the work and income certificate is a certificate containing two contents); 2) Business license (Notarized by the Notary Public/Office), if possible; parents who have their own business;
3) Bank account deposit certificate/proof (Equvlant 160000-220000 CAD);
4) Parents' Bank Statement;
5) Other family property certificates: Vehicle registration certificate (English translation required); Real estate registration certificate (English translation required);
12. Custodian (Notarized by the Notary Public/Office)

 

Submit your student visa application to the IRCC and pay the application fee of $150 CAD + $85 CAD for the Biometrical collection fee Online.

After You Apply

Check your IRCC account for any further information such as the date for your Biometrical information collection. Once you complete all the requirements, an immigration officer will decide whether your application is approved or rejected.  For more information about what happens after you apply, please visit the IRCC website.

If your application is approved, you will be asked to ship your passport to the Canadian embassy/consulate or Visa Centre for issuing a Temporary Resident Visa. Applicants can find Canadian embassy/consulate or Visa Centre locations on the IRCC website.

When you arrive in Canada, an Officer will issue your Study Permit upon arrival at the port of entry.

11. 家庭財務證明：
1）包括父親和母親的工作及收入證明（工作收入證明是一個包含兩個內容的證明）； 2) 营业执照（父母為私營老闆所需要，要公证处公证，其他公職不需要）；3）銀行存款證明（80-120万之間，冻结半年或一年，到招商行出具較好）；4) 父母的銀行流水；5）其他家庭財產證明：車輛登記證（需英文翻譯）；房產證（需英文翻譯）；
12. 監護人（兩分表格，一份給加拿大監護人，另一分給家長，給家長的表格需要在國内公證）

資料收集後，學生簽證申請將提交給 IRCC，並支付 150 加元的申請費 + 85 加元的指紋採集費

申請提交後

查看 IRCC 帳戶以獲取更多信息，例如綠指紋的日期等。完成所有要求後，移民官將決定您的申請是否被批准，有關申請後會發生什麼的更多信息，請訪問 IRCC 網站

 

如果您的申請獲得批准，您將被要求將護照寄送到加拿大大使館/領事館或簽證中心以簽發臨時居民簽證。申請人可以在 IRCC 網站上找到加拿大大使館/領事館或簽證中心的地址

 

當學生抵達加拿大時，邊境官員將在您抵達入境口岸時簽發學習許可
