FAQ 問答

  • Who is eligible to enroll at Cambridge Academy?
We accept all categories of students: full-time students enrolled in public or other private high schools; part-time students enrolled in public or other private high schools; mature students and international students. We make sure that, regardless of their background, the requirements of each student are met on an individual basis to ensure their success.
  • Do students have to provide their own textbooks?
Students are not required to provide their own textbooks. Books and materials will be given to the students upon the start of classes and must be returned on the final exam day. We also provide desktop and laptop computers to students for in-class use.
  • When do students receive their report cards?
Report cards are available for distribution within 2 weeks after the final exam.
  • Do you accept international students?
Yes, we do. Cambridge has a history of accepting students from foreign countries, as long as appropriate visa requirements are met.
  • What is Cambridge Academy's attendance policy?
We at Cambridge Academy are very firm about punctuality and attendance. We believe that it is our responsibility to educate students not only academically, but also socially, ethically and professionally. We want our students to become successful college and university students and in the long run responsible, Canadian and planetary citizens. The main office will inform the parents/guardians of minors when the student has missed 1 or more consecutive classes. Students who become ill and miss a test or an exam are required to provide a signed doctor's note. Students may be asked to attend make-up classes if too many classes are missed, at the discretion of the instructor.
  • Is there a minimum number of courses I can take at Cambridge Academy?
No. Cambridge has a long history of accepting full-time, part-time and single-credit students at our school.
  • Do Cambridge Academy graduates attend post-secondary institutions?
Yes, they do. Over the last 10 years, graduates of Cambridge Academy have moved on to attend some of the top universities and colleges across Canada and abroad. Many of our students become successful in professional careers. See our Testimonials section for student comments.
  • What is the average class size?
Our average class size is 4 to 8 students. We believe that with a much smaller class size students are able to work much more closely with their teachers to reach their full potential.
  • When should we apply?
We accept applications at any time throughout the year, although we recommend applying well in advance of the class starting date to ensure a spot in the course. Please check our Courses section for start dates.
