Principal's Message
I would like to personally welcome you to Cambridge Academy. We are an independent, Ministry-inspected private secondary school with over 10 successful years of student achievement in the Markham and Mississauga areas. Offering an innovative alternative to public education with the help of my qualified teaching staff, our school provides students with a unique learning atmosphere by combining a challenging, yet motivating curriculum in an intimate setting. We offer highly structured, yet flexible classes with great emphasis on the student-teacher relationship. After teaching in the public stream, I realized that there were a number of students whose success was limited in the large system. This is why I started Cambridge Academy 10 years ago. I wanted to create another option for students and families who found it challenging to cope and needed a more individualized academic experience. Cambridge Academy offers high school credit courses for grades 9 through 12 to local as well as international students. We recognize that students come with different abilities and skills that are responded and catered to by a caring and capable staff. We are a non-denominational school, where the foundations of learning such as confidence, skill and achievement are highly valued. At Cambridge, we understand the importance of choosing the right school and the great impact it can have on a child’s future.
