Customized Education Plan
Upon acceptance, students will develop a Customized Education Plan with the help of teachers and the Principal. Developed to help each and every one of our students attain their own personal goals and to challenge them accordingly, the Customized Education Plan allows students to become involved in their own learning while giving teachers the opportunity to track a child’s progress throughout the year.
The Customized Education Plan will:
• Give the student advice and provide guidance of specific courses a student needs to take in order to pursue the post-secondary education and career of his or her choice
• Outline the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses and create realistic ways of overcoming obstacles in their education
• Sets realistic goals towards what the student hopes to achieve over the course of their years in high school and beyond
• Outline the learning style that the student responds best to in order to ensure they are learning from their teachers in the most effective ways possible
• Be flexible and malleable to the academic and social changes the student will undergo through their high-school career
